Zeth is a minor antagonist in Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores.
History[]
Zeth was among the Quen selected for the Eastern Expedition to San Francisco. During the voyage, the fleet was split in two, with Zeth's half winding up stranded in the Burning Shores with no clue regarding the fate of the others.
Zeth would later be among the Quen sent out on a scouting expedition and go missing. Walter Londra came across the group and, using their worship of the Ancestors to his advantage, manipulated them into serving him by promising "the Ascension" for those who followed him. Zeth, along with some other Quen, were brainwashed them with MSP into serving him, with Zeth becoming Walter's right hand and was tasked with watching over other Quen during the excavation of Starlight Rise. Armed with a Specter Gauntlet, Zeth and his squad were also tasked with escorting those who had proven their devotion from Heaven's Rest to Pangea Park, where the devoted would also be subject to MSP, or audition for a role as part of Walter's retinue.
Some time later, Zeth confronted Aloy and Seyka at the Ascension Hall when he learned of their infiltration and deceit into Heaven's Rest. After the fight, Zeth was mortally wounded and his squad wiped out. With his dying breath, he revealed where the devoted were taken and the group he had taken was the last one. He then expired before a shocked Brenik, who would go on to tell the other devoted in Heaven's Rest.
Personality[]
Among his shipmates, Zeth had a reputation for his temper, which would only be amplified after he was subjected to MSP. After his brainwashing, he had a fanatical devotion to Londra.
