Merciful Yusis is a minor character in Horizon Zero Dawn.
History[]
Background[]
Yusis's byname of Merciful comes from the fact that he delivers quick deaths to his foes.[2]
Along with Relentless Shivin and Savage Tarav, Yusis is a member of High Priest Bahavas' personal guard.[2]
Horizon Zero Dawn[]
As part of Bahavas's guard, Yusis was present when Bahavas announced the bounty on Uthid's head. He greeted Aloy after the announcement.[1]
Bahavas and his personal guard were invited by Odund to watch Uthid's death. When Uthid and Aloy killed Odund's Marvels instead, Yusis retreated with Bahavas further into the mountain. Uthid and Aloy quickly caught up to Bahavas, who ordered his guard to "remove them from the Sun's sight". Like the rest of the guard, Yusis was killed by the two, followed shortly by Bahavas.[3]
