There are a number of weapons at Aloy's disposal in Horizon Zero Dawn, which she can use to take out both humans and machines and survive. There are three distinct categories of weapons: ranged, melee, and stealth, allowing a for different play styles. However, some weapons such as the blast sling can be used as both a ranged and stealth weapon.

Heavy Weapons
Some weapons can be picked up from dead human enemies, or shot off of machines. The following weapons cannot be purchased from merchants, and their ammo cannot be crafted.
