Isle of Spires is the ninth Vista Point collectable in Horizon Forbidden West.
Transcript[]
Congratulations. You've found the San Francisco stop on the Vista Point Tour, brought to you by Miriam Technologies and the Coalition for Environmental Reclamation.
We all have origin stories, and San Francisco has been a big part of ours. Founded in 2049 by Elisabet Sobeck and named after her mother, Miriam Technologies embarked on its first projects here in the city. From simple gardening drones that tended schools and parks to pollutant-monitoring systems that led to cleaner, healthier air, our early successes evolved into major, worldwide investments in ecological robotics. Through it all, it's safe to say we left our heart in San Francisco. And we're glad you found it here at this stop.
As a thank you for taking this journey with us, please follow the embedded coordinates to our special reward cache.
COMMENTS
Ramiro: Boom! Got here first!
Anderson: Yeah, yeah. Whatever.
JiaLi: My grandmother was killed in the Syzygy/East meltdown. Our house was on the edge of the Red Zone. They said it would be contaminated for a thousand years. But MT brought in robots that helped clean it up. Last summer I was able to visit the house with my mother to collect Ama's things. I came on this tour to say thank you, Ms. Sobeck. You really are making the world a better place.
Location[]
This Vista Point appears automatically after completing eight previous Vista Points, found to the south of the Isle of Spires atop a ruined tower.
Trivia[]
- The location shown in the Isle of Spires vista point matches the real world location of San Francisco from the Sutro Tower.[1]
- One of the buildings visable in this Vista Point appears to be the Oceanwide Center, a stalled 910ft skyscraper set to be San Francisco's second tallest.[2]
