Valea is a minor character in Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores.
History[]
Valea was a marine assigned to the Eastern Expedition headed for San Francisco. When a typhoon split the fleet in two, she was among the half ending up shipwrecked in the Burning Shores. Later that year, she would be among the Quen assigned to scout out the area and subsequently went missing.
In reality, she came across Walter Londra, who manipulated her into following him with promises of "the Ascension." She was among those who excavated the Quen Excavation and witnessed some of her comrades taken away by Pirik and returned completely different. Eventually, she made her way to Heaven's Rest.
After Zeth's death, she was among the ones who chose to return to Fleet's End, but were intercepted by Pirik and his men on the beach. Her friend, Artor, was killed trying to resist and she and many others were captured and brought to the Quen Excavation. She would eventually be freed by Aloy, and later freed her fellow prisoners within the excavation site, killing all the guards there. While locating the last prisoners, she and Aloy were ambushed by Pirik and a Specter but ultimately prevailed against them.
After all the prisoners were freed, she made her way back to Fleet's End with them.
