Tufanah is a Carja hunter and aspiring member of the Hunters Lodge, holding the unofficial title of Fledgling and looking for a Hawk to sponsor her.[quote 1]

After Tarkas' death and the ascension of his Thrush, Talanah, to Hawk, Tufanah considered asking Talanah to sponsor her, but felt hesitant as Talanah was likely mourning the loss of her Hawk.[quote 1]
Tufanah was amazed by Aloy after she took on three Ravagers alone,[quote 2] and rooted for her after she became Talanah's Thrush.[quote 3]
