After receiving an injury to his leg, Thok requests Aloy's assistance in ensuring the safety of his daughter who set out to retrieve the spear he impaled in a Scrapper. At the return of his daughter and the spear, he improves Aloy's spear as thanks.
- If their side quest is completed before the main quest The Heart of the Nora, Thok and Arana can be found seeking refuge inside All-Mother mountain.
- Thok may acknowledge that he is breaking taboo by speaking to Aloy depending on whether The Proving has been completed.
