Can we associate the term mercenary with non-military action? سلومي العليمي (talk) 03:57, August 16, 2018 (UTC)
- Good point. While the Oseram may have been expecting a fight, either from the Banuk or the machines, the definition of mercenary gets a bit unclear. Wikipedia defines a mercenary as "an individual who is hired to take part in an armed conflict but is not part of a regular army or other governmental military force.", while the Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines it as "one that serves merely for wages; especially: a soldier hired into foreign service".
