Survey Drones are a collectable in Horizon Forbidden West. They can be found flying and hovering in a fixed circuit in specific locations, scanning the environment. To retrieve their modules, Aloy must ground one by jumping onto it from higher ground and looting it.
Once looted, the modules can be brought back to the Base and connected to a console in the same room as GAIA. The modules can then be selected to temporarily customize the dome roof in the room (though the images disappear when GAIA is engaged in conversation).

Survey Drones were originally intended by Project Zero Dawn as a way for GAIA to monitor the biosphere's conditions.
