The Stillsands is a region in Horizon Forbidden West located south of the Shining Wastes and east of the Raintrace.

Geography[]

The Stillsands form the most arid region of the Forbidden West, marked by dunes, blistering heat, and the occasional sand cyclone. While considered part of the Desert Clan's territory, very few Tenakth (besides Regalla's Rebels) venture into the region. In fact, the Oseram are the only tribe with any settlements in the area, both of which were formed recently from expeditions.

Within the Stillsands are the ruins of the Old Ones' city of Las Vegas, most of which is buried beneath the sand.^[1] After completing The Sea of Sands, holograms will light up the skyline day and night, replicating what once was; additional lighting is added upon completion of Nights of Lights and recovery of relic ornaments from around the map.
