The Spurflints Keeper is a minor character in Horizon Zero Dawn. As Groundskeeper of the Spurflints Hunting Grounds, he oversees the Stealth Trials.
History[]
The Spurflints Keeper started in the Lodge as an impatient Fledgling, no different from many other hunters, approaching hunts with haste and impatience in an attempt to gain status. It was not until he assigned to oversee the Spurflints Hunting Grounds, where he was forced to utilize patience and stealth, that he realized that this approach took away much of the enjoyment of the hunt, as well as exposing the hunter to dangers such as being caught in a stampede. He has come to enjoy his position as the Keeper of these Hunting Grounds, is and is disdainful of the boasting and self-aggrandizing talk of the hunters at the Lodge. Having no desire to become a Thrush, he is content to remain a Fledgling.
