Song Jiao was a member of the Old Ones think tank and later space colonization organization Far Zenith. She was also a renowned medical doctor in the field of human gene therapy, with a specific focus on extended longevity.
History[]
Song Jiao was a major proponent of gene therapy for overcoming humanity's biological shortcomings,[1] and continually fought against profit-seeking companies' attempts to capitalize on it.[2]
Still, with the death of Peter Tshivhumbe she spearheaded the Far Zenith's shift to unraveling the secrets to physical immortality,[3] eventually allowing them to live for well over a thousand years. Tilda van der Meer spoke of Song fondly, although they were not particularly close.

Song Jiao is believed to be among the Zeniths killed by Nemesis during the destruction of the Sirius colony.
Legacy[]
Among the Quen, Song Jiao is remembered as "the Healer" for her work in longevity and medicine.[4]
