Sobeck's Raiment is a rare outfit in Horizon Forbidden West.

History

Sobeck's Raiment was given to Aloy by the Quen during the exploration into Thebes to wear as part of the Ceo's vision of himself as Ted Faro and Aloy as his Assistant, Elisabet Sobeck. Aloy was unwilling to wear the raiment, but conceded to do so when Alva was threatened by the Ceo. After finishing the quest, Aloy was very eager to get changed out of it.

Sobeck's Raiment is a recreation of Elisabet Sobeck's trademark outfit, the only difference being an additional belt for Aloy to carry her equipment.

Description

Sobeck's Raiment is also the only outfit that cannot be dyed.

Uniquely for rare outfits, Sobeck's Raiment can be upgraded five times. At base, it provides +1 to Deep Concentration and Stamina Regen and +2 to Valor Surge Master. Upgrading to level 3 provides a +2 Low Health Regen weave and a second modification slot.

When fully upgraded, Sobeck's Raiment can be sold for 1 Small Machine Core, 2 Large Machine Cores, 11 Sturdy Hardplates and 616.

Notes/Advice

Strengths

• Due to it retaining its stats from prior to being reclassified to a rare outfit, Sobeck's Raiment has excellent stats when compared to other rare outfits.
• The boosts that Sobeck's Raiment provides are useful with a wide range of weapons and playstyles.
• During Faro's Tomb, while Aloy is forced to wear it, Sobeck's Raiment provides significant resistance against the weapons used by enemies during the quest.

Weaknesses

• Due to it retaining its upgrade requirements from prior to being reclassified to a rare outfit, Sobeck's Raiment is notably harder to upgrade when compared to other rare outfits.
• Other stronger outfits are available to be obtain prior to when Sobeck's Raiment becomes available.
• During Faro's Tomb, Aloy is forced to wear Sobeck's Raiment, preventing her from using any better outfits she may have for the duration of the quest.
