The Snapmaw Heart is a rare machine resource in Horizon Zero Dawn.

Vashad was hunting Snapmaws to collect Snapmaw Hearts to pay off a debt, but all the dead Snapmaws he was leaving were attracting Glinthawks, which was putting residents of the nearby Lone Light in danger.[1]
When Aloy arrived to figure out what was going on, she either gave Vashad the last Snapmaw Heart he needed to pay off his debt, or ordered him and his crew to leave, to which they tried to kill her, but Aloy was successful in defending herself from them.[1]
Acquisition[]
Snapmaw Hearts can be obtained by looting Snapmaws, or by purchasing them from the Machine Resources Merchant for 
660.
