Shredders are a type of ammunition in Horizon Forbidden West compatible with certain Shredder Gauntlets. It deals medium Impact damage and medium to high Tear damage on impact with an enemy before returning to the user. They deal additional Impact and Tear damage upon grinding on an enemy.
Like all other Shredder ammunition, each catch charges the disc, increasing its damage. After three successful catches, the next impact explodes dealing Explosive and Tear damage.
