The Sharpshot Bow is a weapon type in Horizon Forbidden West.
Description[]
The Sharpshot Bow has the greatest damage and range for the weapon types, making them ideal for long-range combat.
Unlike most other weapons, these types of weapons suffer an accuracy penalty when Aloy is on the move, so it is best to stand still to ensure a more accurate shot. Additionally, Sharpshot Bows have a very low rate of fire, so they are best used in stealth or the first moments of combat.
By default, all Sharpshot Bows have a base 5% chance of landing a critical hit that deals 150% more damage. Overdraw capable Sharpshot Bows also have a default 25% damage bonus from overdrawing. Similar to Hunter Bows, they also suffer a 50% damage penalty when firing while not fully drawn.
