- ―Savohar's prayer
Savohar was a minor character in Horizon Forbidden West.
History[]
Savohar was among the Sun-Priests that fled to Sunfall following the Liberation of Meridian, unwilling to accept Avad as Sun-King, seeing him as a patricide. Evidently more altruistic than some of his colleagues, he showed care to the impoverished and beleaguered citizens in Shadowside.[1]
When the Battle of the Alight ended in the ultimate defeat of the Shadow Carja, Savohar and a number of Shadow Carja formed "the Order of Twilight", fleeing west to the Daunt as refugees.[1]
When a Stormbird fell at the base of an abandoned signal tower, Savohar took this as a divine revelation and proceeded to climb to the base of the tower, instructing the rest of the Order to not let anyone pass the camp of Twilight's Landing.[1] However, Savohar was injured during the climb, possibly puncturing a lung. Still, he attempted to continue the ritual, believing that his faith would be rewarded in the end.[2]
Aloy found Savohar at the base of the tower where the Stormbird fell. By that point, Savohar was weak and delirious, his three days without food or water only compounding his injuries and heat stroke, but still refused Aloy's assistance and refused to move on. While Aloy retrieved the Stormbird Heart to help fund the Order, Savohar succumbed to his wounds.[2]
Savohar was later buried by the Order, and leadership of the refugees fell to Lokasha.[2]
