Riverhymn is an Utaru settlement in Horizon Forbidden West.

Description[]

Riverhymn road sign

The icon for Riverhymn painted on a rock.

Riverhymn lies at the mouth of a small canyon, through which flows a river that nourishes the settlement and the soil.

Riverhymn is the northernmost known Utaru settlement, and one of the few outside of Plainsong that haven't been abandoned in recent years.

In contast to Plainsong, Riverhymn appears to have been spared from the Red Blight entirely.

History[]

Like most Utaru settlements, Riverhymn was invaded by the Carja during the Red Raids. One of the village's residents, Kue, was among the few Utaru to actively resist the invaders.

Horizon Forbidden West[]

During the rebellion, Regalla's Rebels tried to seize control of Riverhymn to strip it for supplies, but it was defended by its residents, led by Kue, and with the help of Aloy.[1]
