A nobleman with an interest in machine hunting, Rhavid had planned on journeying to the Banuk Wilds alongside a troupe of experienced hunters. However, after rumors emerged of a slaughtered Banuk party, daemonic machines, and a mysterious evil miasma he was barred from leaving by his father, who did not want to risk the future of his family.
He is bitter about the hunt being calling off, complaining that the sword he received for his sixteenth birthday has not seen any real combat.
Rhavid appears to be well-meaning, but is hopelessly spoiled and sheltered from the dangers of the world.
- If Rhavid is the chosen quest-giver for Into the Frozen Wilds, Aloy can speak with him after completing The Forge of Winter.
- When Aloy first encounters Rhavid, she can ask about his hunting experience, which comprises having his servants carry a destroyed Lancehorn for him to shoot at. If Aloy returns to Rhavid after visiting the Cut, he will proudly state that he has continued his training, having had his guards carry an entire Longleg.
