Rebel Outposts are an activity in Horizon Forbidden West.
Description[]
In comparison to Rebel Camps, Rebel Outposts are smaller encampments fortified by Regalla's Rebels and Sons of Prometheus. These encampments serve a variety of purposes, such as observation points, penning machines, or conducting salvage operations. Each outpost has a leader or chest that contains Soldier Tags, which are required for completing the outpost activity. These tags can be turned in to Dukkah for minor rewards.
After outposts have been cleared, some will become overrun by machines, while others will be occupied by friendly tribespeople. The latter will often have a Stash and Workbench available.

Trivia[]
- After two Rebel Camps have been cleared, there is a chance that Sons of Prometheus Operatives and Snipers can spawn in Rebel Outposts, replacing their equivalent rebel class.
- Unlike Rebel Camps, clearing outposts does not provide any experience (besides killing enemies) or skill points.
