Quick Wire is an unlockable Weapon Technique for the Tripcaster under the Trapper skill tree in Horizon Forbidden West. It consumes 25 Stamina per use.

Use

Quick Wire allows the Tripcaster to be used more offensively by launching a wire that quickly deploys into a preset length upon impacting the environment. This also has a much longer range than the Tripcaster's default deployment range (max 18.5 meters). However, it comes with a drawback of a limited duration (~25 seconds for Explosive/Elemental tripwires, ~45 seconds for Shieldwires/Staggerbeams) and it won't deploy if it hits an enemy.
