Penetrating Rope is an unlockable Weapon Technique for the Ropecaster under the Trapper skill tree in Horizon Forbidden West. It consumes 40 Stamina per use.

Use

Penetrating Rope fires a special rope that doesn't consume the currently selected ammo type; instead, it only consumes stamina. This rope will always attach to any part of an enemy, including armored parts, which can reduce the time needed to fully tie down a machine.

This special rope has a binding power of 65, which is increased by the rarity and upgrade level of the Ropecaster used. It also inflicts 150 Tear if the rope is removed when attached to a tearable component.
