Nukoni is a mentioned-only character in Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds.
History[]
Wanting better for the werak, Nukoni challenged her power hungry chieftain Onnekut for his chieftaincy with a hunting competition. However, Onnekut murdered her by snapping her neck, returning to the werak as he teased those who sided with Nukoni.[1]
Upon discovering the truth, Tatai, Tulemak and Urkai abandoned the werak to start their own in the Sundom, away from Banuk territory,[2] fearing Onnekut might kill them next.[1]
Legacy[]
Depending on Aloy's responses to them, Tatai, Tulemak and Urkai may name their werak "Nukoni's Arrows" in her honor.[3]
