Mounted Pickup is a learnable Traveler skill in Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds and a starting skill in Horizon Forbidden West.
Use[]
The Mounted Pickup skill allows Aloy to search loot boxes and downed machines and gather natural resources while on a mounted machine. Without this skill, it is necessary for Aloy to dismount in order to pick up loot. Using Mounted Pickup will cause a mount to come to a complete stop while Aloy gathers her loot.
Aloy cannot obtain this skill until after gaining the ability to override machines in the main quest The Womb of the Mountain.
