History[]

Hunters Lodge

The carcass of the Thunderjaw that destroyed Morning Light.

Morning Light was a Carja freehold that was destroyed by a Thunderjaw, roughly ten years before the events of Horizon Zero Dawn. Following this, Ahsis hunted down and destroyed the Thunderjaw that was responsible. This promoted him from Hawk to Sunhawk of the Hunters Lodge, and his trophy now hangs from the ceiling of the Lodge.[1]

Trivia[]

  • It's unknown where Morning Light was located, as no definite signs of it can be found.
  • Morning Light is the only known settlement to have been completely destroyed by machines.
