Meat is Yarra's pet vulture, often seen perched outside the Commander's quarters overlooking Scalding Spear.
After Yarra/Drakka dealt with multiple contenders for their position, Meat brought them the cord of a child's training sword, being something a child would never lose, this indicated to them that something was wrong, and they later discovered that a child was missing.[1]
Aloy was able to determine the location the cord had come from by scanning residue left on it. Meat followed as Aloy and Yarra/Drakka went searching and started squawking as they got close to where the child was.[2] After the child was rescued, Meat returned to Scalding Spear.
