Lokasha is a minor character in Horizon Forbidden West.

History

Lokasha was among the refugees that fled to Sunfall following the Liberation of Meridian, unwilling to accept Avad as Sun-King, seeing him as a patricide. However, she suffered a hard time in Shadowside, but was helped by Sun-Priest Savohar.

When the Battle of the Alight ended in the ultimate defeat of the Shadow Carja, Savohar and a number of Shadow Carja, including Lokasha, formed the Order of Twilight, fleeing west to the Daunt as refugees.

When a Stormbird fell at the base of an abandoned signal tower, Savohar took this as a divine revelation and proceeded to climb to the base of the tower to receive a vision as to their new home, instructing the rest of the Order to not let anyone pass the camp of Twilight's Landing. Lokasha took up command in his absence.

Horizon Forbidden West

While waiting for days for Savohar's return, the Order found themselves blighted by aggressive machines, as well as an Oseram named Tolland (who Lokasha considered unpleasant "even by Oseram standards") who insisted they stand aside to let him access a Stormbird he killed, to which they refused. The Order was eventually found by the huntress Aloy, who begged them to leave for their own safety. Lokasha initially refused, as Savohar had not yet returned from his vision. However, admitting her own concern that Savohar was taking longer than usual, she allowed Aloy access to the path to check on the Sun-Priest.

While Aloy was gone, Tolland returned with his men and demanded the Order stand aside. Lokasha refused, but Aloy luckily returned and convinced Tolland to leave, as his men refused to cross her. She informed Lokasha that Savohar had perished, and provided her with the heart from the Stormbird, telling her to speak to Petra in Chainscrape for help. Lokasha thanked Aloy for her kindness and followed her advice, taking leadership of the Order, giving Aloy a token of her people's gratitude.

After burying Savohar, the Order of Twilight relocated to Chainscrape. Lokasha prayed for guidance and a vision of her people's new home. When she received no such vision, she initially felt despair, but came to see it as a sign that she and her people were already were they supposed to be.
