CHAMBER B1-001

An ectogenic chamber used by the Lightkeeper protocol

The Lightkeeper Protocol was a protocol by which clones of the Alphas would be made to continue development of Project Zero Dawn beyond the lifespans of the original Alphas.

Description[]

The Lightkeeper Protocol was proposed by Elisabet Sobeck, designed for clones of the Alphas to be created within GAIA Prime, raised by their original, and later continue development of Project Zero Dawn beyond the lifespan of the original Alphas. In order for this protocol to be possible, life support and living spaces were included in GAIA Prime, and genetic material of the Alphas was sent to ELEUTHIA-9 to processing,[1] with #LK1A1-4510 being Elisabet's genetic material.[2]

However, the Lightkeeper Protocol was abandoned by Elisabet, but not before the necessary infrastructure in GAIA Prime was complete, but the genetic material was still within ELEUTHIA-9.[1]

History[]

In the Old World[]

On January 15, 2066, as the Alphas were forced to evacuate to GAIA Prime before their work was fully complete, Elisabet documented in her journal about how she abandoned the Lightkeeper Protocol, and that she was glad that it wasn't possible to revive it, noting the creepiness of raising and training a clone of herself, as well as how she wouldn't want to be around a clone of Travis Tate raised by Travis Tate.[1]

In the New World[]

Nearly 1,000 years later, on August 26, 3020,[2] when the Extinction Signal woke HADES and prompted GAIA to self-destruct, she ordered ELEUTHIA-9 to gestate #LK1A1-4510 to create a clone of Elisabet, in the hopes that she would be able to purge HADES and rebuild the terraforming system.[3] Within ELEUTHIA-9, these orders were carried out by Multiservitor B1-23, #LK1A1-4510 was fully processed and placed within Chamber B1-001 for gestation. On April 4, 3021, #LK1A1-4510 was delivered, then placed outside the facility door to be found by the Nora.[2]
