Well, I always thought that if I lived to see the end of days, I'd ride it out in my crummy apartment behind the Scan'N'Save. But here I am instead, crammed into an evac center, leaving you behind.
But I'll miss you, LA. I'll miss the glare of your late afternoon sunlight when I get off my shift. I'll miss cheering the losing team on Sundays at the MechBooker Stadium. I'll miss trying to see stars through your endless holos. Every late night taco truck run. Early morning hangovers. Your beaches, the surf, the way the waves crash on the sand like they want to climb right into the city and join the fray. I'll even miss that one guy that seems to be on every corner, tryna make a quick buck with shitty holocard tricks.
And most of all I'll miss that feeling, the one scattered between every boulevard and back alley. The one everyone who calls you home knows, no matter where they come from or what language they speak with their grandma on Sundays. That one, hopeful feeling that we're all reaching towards something bigger, better...
In those final hours, when the holos went dark and the sirens blared, I knew it was over for real. But LA, I want you to know... I'll miss you forever.

This datapoint is located on the small sandy island located northeast of Fleet’s End. On the eastern side of the island is a sandy clearing guarded by Burrowers, where a ruined van directly underneath a traffic light is right next to this datapoint.
