Lasting Override is a learnable Machine Master skill in Horizon Forbidden West.

Use

This skill increases the duration machines will stay overridden (though mounts will always be permanently overridden). By default, the duration is 40 seconds, though each hit from Aloy reduces the duration by 20% until it reverts to a hostile state. This will also apply to permanently overridden machines.

Boosts

This skill is boosted by wearing Sobeck's Raiment, Tenakth Recon and Tenakth Tactician outfits. Upgrading the Tenakth Dragoon to level 3 provides a +2 weave that can be slotted into any outfit.

A +1 weave can be purchased from Scalding Spear's Stitcher for 150 Metal Shards.

Consuming Mountain Caps or Scorpion Skewers boosts the skill by 3 levels.
