Lahavis is a minor character in Horizon Zero Dawn.
History
Lahavis is a Carja noble living in Brightmarket with his teenage daughter Elida. Although his occupation is not revealed, he appears to be a diplomat as he mentions being responsible for writing some political edicts regarding the Carja Civil War.
The war put a strain on his relationship with his daughter, who disagreed with the war and the cease-fire.

Aloy finds Lahavis overlooking a bridge in Brightmarket. When approached, Lahavis explains that Elida has been missing since the night before, and he was checking the water out of desperation. Aloy agrees to search for her, and goes to check his estate.
Elida returns home later, but Lahavis senses that something is wrong. On Aloy's advice, he comes to his daughter's aid, where she admits her relationship with Atral, a Shadow Carja soldier.
