The Kulrut is a tournament held in the Memorial Grove, the capital of the Tenakth tribe. It is a trial-by-combat used to select Marshals of the Tenakth tribe.
Overview[]
A Kulrut is held whenever the Chief sends out a call for it. Each of the three clans will then select champions to participate and send them to the Tenakth's capital, the Memorial Grove. The Kulrut will not begin without all three clans in attendance.
For the challenge itself, the contestants jump into the arena from above and fight machines within the arena. All those who survive are thereafter named Marshals.

- "Kulrut" is similar to the Mongolian term "Kurultai" (Mongolian: ᠬᠤᠷᠠᠯᠲᠠᠢ, Хуралдай, Khuraldai; Turkic: 𐰴𐰆𐰺𐰞𐱃𐰖, Kurultay), which was a political and military council of ancient Mongol and Turkic chiefs and khans.
