Kudiv is a merchant in Horizon Zero Dawn. He is a Carja trader located in Meridian, offering special Treasure Boxes in exchange for sets of Metal Flowers.
History[]
Background[]
Kudiv began his career as an adventurer, collecting flowers to sell to the nobles of Meridian. He made a name for himself by searching for the wildest blossoms, with no bandit or machine able to keep him from them.[1]
Eventually, Kudiv fell in love with Theradine and the two began a relationship. Due to their worry for him, Kudiv scaled back his adventures to collecting flowers in safety. Despite missing the freedom to adventure wherever he pleases, Kudiv considers his relationship with Theradine to be sweeter than the freedom.[1]
At some point, Kudiv was given the position of Champion by a Sun-King.[2]
Horizon Zero Dawn[]
Kudiv's clients began wanting Metal Flowers, which Kudiv was unable to provide.[1] When he met Aloy in Meridian, he offered to trade valuables to her in exchange for Metal Flowers.

Trivia[]
Kudiv's face clipping with his headdress, with the hole on the front left tassel misaligned with the cable it is hanging from.
- Kudiv mentions that he uses a bow and spear in battle.[1]
- Kudiv wears the Carja Champion face paint.
- In Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, Kudiv's face frequently clips with his headdress. Additionally, the front left tassel on his headdress isn't properly bound to the cable it should be, causing it to become misaligned with the cable when Kudiv moves his head.
