Korvend is a minor character in Horizon Forbidden West.
History[]
Korvend is the foreman at the quarry in the Crimson Narrows mine site. By all accounts, Korvend is an excellent boss who looks after his employees, and like many in Chainscrape, he was forced to deal with Ulvund's unreasonable demands. Despite his efforts to shield his workers from Ulvund, they inevitably became overworked and exhausted, leading to accidents and injuries in the mines.
In one such incident, an explosion resulted in the mine flooding. Korvend managed to pull all but two of the workers to safety, until his own injuries kept him from continuing further. The timely arrival of Aloy allowed for the final two workers to escape the mine. Once the incident was resolved, Korvend swore to set his foot down, refusing to subject his workers to unsafe conditions any longer.
