Kopilai is a minor character in Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds.
History[]
Aujak and Kopilai.
Kopilai is the chieftain of an unnamed werak in Song's Edge, leading alongside her shaman, Aujak.
Among her werak, Inatut was her favored hunter,[1] she taught him how to be honest,[2] although she has made excuses for his behavior, had to save him on multiple occasions[1] and even knocked out one of his teeth at one point.[2]

When Inatut was accused of murdering Ruwas of the Carja, Kopilai and Aujak exiled him to the Cloud-Shear with no clothes or equipment.[3]
When Aloy came to them with proof of Inatut's innocence, Kopilai and Aujak refused to acknowledge their mistake and insisted that Inatut's punishment would still stand. When Inatut returned as Aloy tried to argue, Kopilai scolded him for wearing Carja clothing (given to him by Aloy), telling him that if he is to return, he must behave how a Banuk does, at which Inatut rebuked her before storming off.[3]
After talking with Aloy about what he will do next, Inatut decided to speak to Kopilai again, although he feared that she may knock out another of his teeth.[4]
