History[]
As a Chaplain, Jetakka lived during and through the Clan Wars.

Jetakka was one of the few entrusted with the secret that the Wound in the Sand had stopped refilling. The existential threat to his clan was not the only problem: the resultant water rations was raising tension between Yarra, the clan's commander; and Drakka, the leader of the Arrowhand settlement.
A solution came through the Easterner Aloy, who had made herself known among the Tenakth for her stand against Regalla at Barren Light. Jetakka had heard rumors that Aloy had special insight into the Old Ones, which she confirmed after helping Drakka harvest machine hearts for the settlement. Sensing that she held the key to solving the water crisis, Jetakka asked her to meet him in Scalding Spear, not explaining why due to the delicate nature of the subject.
At the Desert Capital, Jetakka convinced a doubtful Yarra to enlist Aloy's help. His insight ultimately proved correct, as Aloy was able to repair the Wound with Yarra's help. Unfortunately, one crisis gave way to another as the tensions between Drakka and Yarra boiled over. Despite Jetakka's efforts to calm the situation, Drakka challenged Yarra for command.
Duel at the Gate of the Vanquished[]
Jetakka knew that without intervention, the duel would serve as the starting point for a conflict that would ravage his clan. He enlisted Aloy's help once again, as her aid to both Drakka and Yarra would give her the best chance of convincing them.
Jetakka stalled Drakka and Yarra at the Gate of the Vanquished until Aloy arrived.
Current status[]
Following the resolution of the command challenge, Jetakka returned to Arrowhand to oversee the settlement until a new leader had been determined.
Personality[]
As one of the few in his clan to reach old age, Jetakka bears wisdom and restraint that is rare among his clan. As such, he considers it his responsibility to restrain the headstrong youth and redirect them when they stray from the correct path.
