The Inferno Bomb Launcher is a heavy weapon in Horizon Forbidden West that deals Fire damage.
How to obtain[]
Inferno Bomb Launchers can be found wielded by Rebel Heavy Gunners and Sons of Prometheus Gunners. They can also be picked up by their allies if the original wielder is killed.
Usage[]
The Bomb Launcher fires round fire bombs in a spread that explode on contact with a surface or enemy. The weapon must charge up by holding down the fire button. Depending on how long the weapon is charged, up to five bombs are launched at an increasing spread.
Advantages[]
- High Fire damage.
- Spread style firing method allows for high area of effect.
Disadvantages[]
- Limited ammo supply.
- Bombs travel slower and in a sharper arc than most projectiles.
- Can deal self damage and knockback if the explosion is too close.
- Like all heavy weapons, it slows Aloy down when she wields it.
Trivia[]
- Inferno Bomb Launchers and Plasma Bomb Launchers look visually identical to the Oseram Cannon but with what appears to be a bag of leather that covers the usually exposed back of the weapon. This actually explains its remote functionality as Oseram Cannons need to be close to its ammunition basket. This new bag directly feeds the bomb launcher but now has more limited amount of ammunition.
