Ikkotah is a character in Horizon Forbidden West.
History[]
An older Sky Clan soldier, Ikkotah and his friend Chekkatah were one of the few individuals to hand Hekarro a defeat during the Clan Wars. Chekkatah would later participate in the first Kulrut and become a Marshal. While the exact nature of their relationship is uncertain, it is clear that Ikkotah had romantic feelings for Chekkatah and would always look forward to his return. As such, Ikkotah was crushed when Chekkatah was killed by Regalla's Rebels in their ambush at the Embassy of Barren Light.
After meeting Aloy when she passed through Cliffwatch, Ikkotah invited her to hunt along with him in the forest. Hunting alongside her allowed Ikkotah to find some closure in Chekkatah's loss, as well as clear dangerous machines threatening his people.
