Horizon Wiki

The Hands of the Flood is a location mentioned only in a datapoint in Horizon Zero Dawn.

Description[]

Little is known about the Hands of the Flood, only that it is a location in the southern Sundom based on the fact that Redmaw, known as the terror of the south, was believed to have been there.[1]

History[]

In the spring of the eighteenth year of Sun-King Jiran's reign, an unnamed Carja freehold located near the Hands of the Flood was destroyed in a machine attack. This is widely believed to be the first attack of the infamous Thunderjaw later known as Redmaw, as the wounds on the nine recovered bodies indicate a Thunderjaw, although there were no surviving witnesses to confirm or deny this.[1]
