Goldthorn Peppers were initially believed to be poisonous after an Oseram ealdormen suffered a violent allergic reaction to it. However, at some point, they were discovered to not be poisonous and were safe to eat by most people.

Goldthorn Peppers can be harvested from Jungle Goldthorns found growing in jungle regions of the Forbidden West.
