Furahni is a minor character in Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds.
History[]
Background[]
At some point during Sun-King Jiran's reign, at the age of 18 or 19, Furahni refused one of his Sun-Priests and was lashed as punishment.[2]
At some point, Furahni began being hired by machine hunters and danger seekers to guide them in the Cut, setting camp at the Carja Outlander Camp.[1]
At some point, Furahni was given the position of Champion by a Sun-King.[3]
Horizon Zero Dawn The Frozen Wilds[]
On her latest run to the Cut, Furahni had Sun-Priest Hishavan with her to read the signs, but considered it to be a bad run.[1]
When Ruwas was found dead with his headdress stolen and all believed that Inatut was responsible, Furahni agreed with them. She was frustrated that the Banuk wouldn't hand over Inatut for a "proper trial,"[2] one where he'd have his mouth filled with salt and held up for the Sun to consider over days.[4]
Aloy came to talk to Furahni about Ruwas' murder, being told where the scene of the crime took place.[5] After she figured out the truth, the Carja Outlander Camp was left deserted.
Personality[]
Furahni doesn't fully trust the Banuk, seeing them as barbarians, although she understands their reasons to keep apart from the Carja due to their history with the Red Raids and doesn't automatically blame them for the deaths of Carja in the Cut when there's a more sensical explanation, such as nobles neglecting to properly prepare.[2]
