For His Amusement is a main quest in Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores.
Synopsis[]
Aloy meets Seyka on the beach to discuss previous events. Seyka explains that her missing sister has become a devotee of Walter's cult and has been painting murals in ruins. To infiltrate Walter's park Aloy decides to override a Waterwing as the machine can both fly and dive underwater. A Waterwing shares enough code with a Sunwing that Aloy doesn't need to find a cauldron, but instead fetch several Waterwing parts for an "update". Several Snapmaws are guarding the Waterwing parts so once Aloy escapes from the enemies, she crafts the Waterwing override.
With the override in hand, Aloy meets up with Seyka and overrides a Waterwing. After some hesitancy from Seyka, they board the machine and begin flying towards Pangea Park. En route, they are repeatedly fired upon by Londra's Defense Drone, however, they manage to evade it by diving below the water before the attacks hit. The Waterwing is eventually downed, but close enough to the island to allow the pair to infiltrate it.
On the island, Aloy and Seyka overhear that Walter Londra is within the Volcano, and formulate a plan to break in. Upon reaching the door to the Volcano, they realize that it can only be opened via the Armory exhibit, which is locked by a key. This key is held by one of Londra's lieutenants, Fedder, who is on the other side of the park, within an attraction called Raptor Rapid. Once there, they realize that Seyka's sister, Kina, is rehearsing lines from an old holo to impress Londra.
After she leaves, Aloy and Seyka begin attacking the small contingent of Quen, which they dispatch with ease. Once Fedder has been taken down, the two retrieve the Armory's key from his body and return to unlock the Volcano. Upon entering the Armory, the pair discover that Londra has been gathering DNA samples from the Quen, and cryogenically storing them. Further down, Aloy discovers a power switch that shorts the energy cell, requiring her to find a replacement. Once found and installed, she restores power the the building, which causes the systems to reboot. This includes a chair in the centre of the room, which begins to play various contradictory statements. Aloy deduces that this is MSP as Seyka finds her way down to join her.
Once together, they are greeted by Walter Londra's AI Assistant, Nova. She explains that Londra has used MSP on the Quen that the two have been fighting and that MSP is the reason they are unnaturally aggressive. She also states that Walter plans to escape Earth before Nemesis arrives and kills him while bringing the aforementioned Quen DNA to clone its populace as the people of his new world. She explains that he also wishes to form a "retinue" of people close to him that reminds him of his 21st Century inner circle, including Evelyn Day Londra, his late wife. Nova states that this is the role that Kina is auditioning for, Walter's mate and that there is still time to save her, as she has not undergone MSP. Nova then agrees to help Aloy and Seyka by unlocking the Volcano and disabling the island's defense systems, in exchange for wiping her source code, effectively killing her. Aloy agrees and exits with Seyka to enter the newly opened Volcano
Once inside, they see that two girls are auditioning for the role of Londra's mate, Kina and Peera. Once Aloy and Seyka make their presence known, Londra addresses Aloy and claims that he has found something to "crush her like an insect". He then summons a Slaughterspine to attack them, killing Peera in the process. Once this threat has been neutralized, Seyka runs to comfort Kina and then speaks with Aloy. Aloy asks her to meet her at Heaven's Rest to confront Londra, to which she agrees.
