"We weren't in great spirits when we made landfall."
Seyka in reference of Fleet's End's name

Fleet's End is a Quen settlement in Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores.

Description[]

Located on an island in the middle of the Burning Shores, Fleet's End is centered around the husks of ruined, overgrown buildings. A rope bridge connects the island to the ruins of downtown Los Angeles, where foraging parties are sent to gather food and other supplies. The majority of the sailors and marines are settled in shelters on the west and central part of the island, while Admiral Gerrit's quarters and those of higher ranking Quen are on an elevated position overlooking the settlement.

The west side of Fleet's End features docks for ships, the brig, and kelp farms. Ballistas have also been set up to watch for threats from the sea and sky. There are also numerous shipwrecks from the Expedition found underwater.

The north side of Fleet's End serves as a burial ground for Quen that have fallen since landfall, while the south side of the island is mostly beach, where damaged ships are undergoing repairs.

History[]

Fleet's End was established by members of the Quen Eastern Expedition destined for San Francisco who ended up stranded in the ruins of Los Angeles after a severe storm separated them from the rest of the fleet and sent them off-course to the south, taking them to the Burning Shores.[1][2]
