The Firespitter is a close range heavy weapon in Horizon Forbidden West that deals fire damage, not to be mistaken with their Horizon Zero Dawn version.
How to obtain[]
Firespitters can be seen carried by Quen Imperial Guards and Sons of Prometheus Gunners, though their allies can pick them up if the original wielder has been killed.
Usage[]
Similar to the Forgefire's Firethrower attack, the Firespitter deals high Fire damage and Fire severity within a short range.
Advantages[]
- Easy to inflict Burning status on enemies, especially if they are vulnerable to Fire.
Disadvantages[]
- Limited to short range only.
- Limited ammo.
- Like all heavy weapons, it slows Aloy down when she wields it.
