Fireclaw Stew is a rare Lowland Tenakth food in Horizon Forbidden West and The Official Horizon Cookbook: Tastes of the Seven Tribes.
History[]
As it is named after the Fireclaw, which is a very recently released machine,[1] Fireclaw Stew is likely one of the most recent creations in the New World.
The Official Horizon Cookbook: Tastes of the Seven Tribes[]
The cook and his assistant at the Maw of the Arena were preparing a large amount of Fireclaw Stew in preparation for the rush of people soon to come out of the Arena. When Milduf asked why the rush wasn't being avoided by the crowd being fed in Arena, the cook laughed that feeding hot stew in an unruly crowd was asking for trouble. When Milduf showed how successful serving Meat in the Middle in the Arena was, the Fireclaw Stew was abandoned.[2] As thanks for his work, the cook taught Milduf the recipe for Fireclaw Stew, along with other Lowland Tenakth recipes.[3]
Milduf notes that his favourite variety of Fireclaw Stew is made of ground mutton.[3]
