Fire Tripwires are a type of ammunition compatible with certain Tripcasters in Horizon Forbidden West. It behaves similarly to the Fire Wire from Horizon Zero Dawn and deals low Fire damage and very high Fire buildup when the wire is tripped. It leaves behind a pool of fire, dealing additional damage and buildup over time.
These can be used to set enemies on fire, which deals damage over time. Effective against enemies with fire vulnerability.
