The Emperor of the Quen[2] is a mentioned-only character in Horizon Forbidden West, and is the current leader of the Quen.
History[]
As the Quen were facing a crisis due to flooding, intense storms, and starvation from crop failure, the Emperor's cousin/nephew convinced him that an expedition across the Great Ocean to San Francisco might help them uncover data that would help them solve these problems, as this was where many Ancestors would spend a lot of time, including the greatest ancestor Ted Faro. In agreement, the Emperor declared that all resources be poured into this endeavor to build a fleet of ships to cross the Great Ocean. In addition, the Emperor's cousin/nephew was named Ceo, an honorific title for one who wields the Legacy for the good of the Empire, a living embodiment of Ted Faro the Renewer,[3] him being the first Ceo in five generations.[2] After seven years of preparation,[2] the Eastern Expedition set sail toward San Francisco.
Events of Horizon Forbidden West[]
When Alva told Bohai about Nemesis, he said he would petition the Emperor to send back aid once he returned to the Great Delta. When Aloy asked if the Emperor would listen, Alva admitted that she didn't know, but she hoped he would.
