Eagle's Fall is a location in Horizon Call of the Mountain.
Description[]
Eagle's Fall is located in the southeast part of the Sundom. Similar to Dawn's Sentinel and Daytower, it serves as the eastern border of Carja territory and contains fortifications along the mountains. Watchtowers are also found below within the pass leading to Valleymeet. Besides a garrison stationed within these fortifications, Eagle's Fall contains alarm bells at regular intervals along the wall and ballista that can be deployed into firing positions via elevator.
History[]
Eagle's Fall was constructed during the reign of the Sun-King Khuvadin after his failed attempt to colonize the Savage East. One section was named Khuvadin's Wall in his honor.[1]
Many years later, when Asera's plot to destroy Meridian was discovered, Marad had additional soldiers deployed to the border for increased security. Although the garrison attempted to stop Asera's Tallnecks, they were unable to do so as Asera and her men destroyed the watchtowers as they moved through the pass. Ryas traveled through Eagle's Fall and managed to intercept the Tallnecks and destroy the lures planted on one before Asera crashed the Tallnecks out of desperation.
