The Drone Hangar is a ruin location in Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds. A derelict but mostly intact military drone is parked in the Hangar and can be moved using the appropriate buttons found around the area, but the drone itself cannot be interacted with.
History[]
In the Old World[]
The hangar was initially requisitioned by Dod Blevins, the Director of Security for Project Firebreak, to house military-grade security drones.
In the New World[]
Banuk shamans in the Cut discovered the ruins of the hangar and believed it to be a nest for "metal birds," mistaking the aeronautic features of the remaining drones for avian constructs.
Aloy was later sent to this location by Kamut to strip a rail component from one of these "metal birds" in order to help improve her spear.
