Dirid is a minor character in Horizon Zero Dawn.
History[]
Dirid was a member of the Carja tribe, and part of a Carja convoy traveling close to the Nora Sacred Lands. However, he absconded with the valuable merchandise the convoy was carrying to pay some personal debts.
The Nora Brave Aloy was asked by Lubavad to find the trading convoy that Dirid was a part of, as they had left without the ammunition necessary to defend themselves against machines. After finding the convoy and helping defend it against such an attack, Marzavid, the leader of the party, discovered that Dirid had stolen the merchandise. Aloy tracked Dirid down to recover it. Initially Dirid was unrepentant, but he was fatally wounded by a cloaked Stalker. His last words were a prayer to the Sun for forgiveness for what he had done.
